#YouLookDisgusting Beauty blogger shows the reality of every makeup tutorial

Mid June, a popular YouTube make up tutorial star decided to take up the task of inspiring every person to feel beautiful in their skin. Acne and pimples have really made many of us feeling less confident and ugly. Em, the YouTube star, wanted to reveal her own skin without the makeup to see how people react to it and how they reciprocate to natural beauty.

Beauty has nothing to do with the skin or makeup but not many of us in the society understand it.

Em shared her makeup-less pictures for three months on her social media accounts. She decided to record very single comment she received on her pictures.

The following video shows Em with out makeup as the comments she received on her pictures flash on the screen,

ugly as fuck

followed by Em wearing makeup and people calling her ugly.

The description of her video says, “Three months ago, I began posting images of myself without makeup on social media. The following film contains real comments that were left on images of my face.

Over the past few months, I’ve received thousands of messages from people all over the world who suffer or have suffered from acne, an insecurity or self confidence issues.

I wanted to create a film that showed how social media can set unrealistic expectations on both women and men. One challenge many face today, is that as a society, we’re so used to seeing false images of perfection, and comparing ourselves to unrealistic beauty standards that It can be hard to remember the most important thing – You ARE beautiful.

You are beautiful – no matter how flawed you feel, no matter how upset you may about the way you look or how hard you find it to make friends, or be confident. Believe in yourself, and never let anyone tell you’re not beautiful – not even yourself. ”

One should rather focus on their own beauty that look for the people around us to tell us we are beautiful. Everyone is made beautiful. There is something or the other that is gorgeous and uniquely attractive. Just remember, you ARE beautiful.
