D.C. based Indian artist creates an addictive mashup of ‘Ang Laga De Re’ and the Weeknd’s ‘Prisoner’

Talented artist, VidyaVox has been up to some great music mashups. After bringing ‘Where Are U Now’s Tamil Remix‘, which is better than the original track, Vidya decided to do come up with an epic mashup.  Canadian artist, The Weeeknd’s latest album ‘Beauty Behind The Madness’ has some great numbers including Can’t feel my face and Prisoner.

Vidya made an awesome mashup of the song Prisoner and mingled it with the amazing melody and lyrics of ‘And Laga De Re’ composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali & Monty Sharma for the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela RamLeela.

Vidya has been shot walking alone on a lonely street, standing in an empty park and sitting by a tree in this gorgeous video, and has beautifully managed to give the right feel and look to the video to suit the tracks used in the mashup.

The sensational D.C. based singer and songwriter has been assisted by the popular music composer, Shankar Tucker for the audio and video production.
