On the happiest occasion of Children’s Day, a day reminiscent of our beautiful time spent in school, let’s celebrate the charisma and glory of 11 young most influential and powerful people in the world. Who we all say, are doing their best at skipping classes and inspiring us with their lives every day!
1. Reuben Paul
An 8- year old child prodigy is the CEO of his own company, Prudent Games. Reuben has been trained in Object C Programming and is now learning Swift programming, for Apple’s iOS platform. This kid is definitely making big as he has been chosen to address the cyber security conference, Ground Zero Summit in Delhi with other keynote speakers.
2. Akrit Jaswal
The world’s smartest boy with an IQ level of 146, also known as the smartest boy of his age in India. The boy gave everyone a shocker when he carried out his first medical surgery at home. He is the youngest person to enter a medical university in India (Punjab University) at the age of 12 already claiming that he is the at the verge of discovering a cure for cancer.
3. Jazz Jennings
Working towards transgender visibility, Jazz, born on 6th October, 2000 has been interviewed by Barbara Walters and has met Bill Clinton already. She is the youngest person to get featured on the Out 100 and The Advocate‘s 40 under 40 lists. She has also written a book titled ‘I am Jazz’ which talks about her life as a girl from the age of 5.
4. Cleopatra Stratan
The highest paid young artist born on 6th October 2002, started her career at age 3 when she used to get paid a 1000 Euros per song! She also has a record of performing for straight two hours for her audience. She is the youngest recipient of MTV award and the youngest artist to score a No.1 hit in a country with her album ‘La Varsta de Trei ani’
5. Aelita Andre
The cutest artist to start painting when she was only 9 months old. Born on 9th January 2007, Aelita is an abstract Surrealist painter from Australia. Her first group exhibition was held when she turned 2 and her solo exhibition was opened in NY at the age of 4.
6. Quvenzhane Wallis
Quvenzhane Wallis is an American child actress and singer born on 28th August, 2003. In 2012, at the age of 9, she became the youngest actress to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
7. Alexis Martin
Child prodigy from Arizona started reciting her bed times stories when she was only 18 months old. Her IQ test scores the maximum number of points – 160, the same as Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking and Nicolaus Copernicus.
8. Flynn McGarry
Flynn is the youngest chef at the age of 15. He built a high-tech kitchen is his bedroom modeled on Grant Achatz’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant Alinea and has an ambition to open the world’s best restaurant ever. Flynn has featured on the cover of New York Times Magazine and cooked on the Today show.
9. Salma Kakar
17 years old lead biker in the Afghanistan National Cycling Team, Salma has her professional career in biking. Breaking the rituals of girls confined within the four walls of their house, Salma is the first Afghan teenager to appear in the TIME’s list of influential people.She told TIME that her dream is to wave Afghanistan’s Flag at the Olympics one day, and to show the world how far Afghan women have come.
10. Lydia Ko
17 years old Lydia ranks third among women golfers in the world and the youngest millionaire in the LGPA history.
11. Malala Yousafzai
17 years old Pakistani youth activist is the youngest recipient of Nobel Peace Prize. Her organization Malala Fund promotes girl education, and helps Syrian refugee children. She is also working towards the return of Nigerian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram.
