How to use Dark Mode on iPhone and iPad

How to use Dark Mode on iPhone and iPad

Method 1: Using the Control Center

If you are using iOS 13 or iOS 14, I am sure you must have used the Control Center that offers you quick access to some shortcuts and allows you to get tasks done easily. Dark Mode can be enabled from Control Center and this is how it’s done:

Step 1:

For iPhones with a Face ID:

  • Swipe down from the top right corner of your iPhone to bring up the Control Center.

For iPhones with a Home Button: 

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the Control Center.

Step 2: Long Press on the Brightness Slider to bring up Advanced Display Options.

Step 3: Once the Advanced Display Options are on your screen, you can switch to Dark Mode by tapping on the Dark Mode option from your bottom right corner.

Method 2: From the Settings Menu

This is the traditional method to turn on Dark Mode which is used by majority of the iOS users. To turn on Dark Mode from the Settings Menu all you have to do is:

Step 1: Bring up the Settings app on your smartphone and go to the Display & Brightness section.

Step 2: Tap on the “Dark” option in the Appearnce section to turn on Dark Mode on your iOS device.
