This couple quit their jobs to travel together and find the true meaning of love

The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page

– Saint Augustine

And when there is love involved, the beauty is taken to a next level! We have heard and read a lot about love, but have we ever known the legit definition of unconditional love? This is the story of Ryan Fontana and Molly Joseph. It all started with a simple mission –

I intend to live fully in the present moment, choose love over fear, say yes to adventure, and continually blow through the limits of my comfort zone. I have no plan other than to follow what feels best, connect with people, and share experiences. I will be posting short updates here on my personal page, but will be writing in much greater depth on the blog about manifestation, spirituality, and conscious relationship.

These guys quit their jobs as big-time DJs and sold all their belongings to head to the Pacific. They spent the next few months gaining new perspectives on their relationship as they explored foreign lands. What was it that they learned, traveling together? As Ryan likes to put it,

Communication and Vulnerability, the two most important elements for a deep, intimate, and loving relationship. No feeling too small, no thought too embarrassing…all issues are met with unconditional love and compassion.
Sharing ourselves completely with our partner, we begin to shine light into all of the areas of ourselves that we have shrouded in darkness, making the seemingly unlovable, lovable once more.
This is what it means to LOVE.
This is what it means to LIVE.
LOVE is LIFE ❤️LIFE is LOVE

Meet the beautiful couple…

They felt that something was missing from their lives, and that is when they decided to quit their jobs to travel together. Molly wrote on Instagram,

A month and a half ago a trip to Yosemite inspired us to take off and see the world. I’m writing this as I board a plane to Asia – going further from home than I have ever been before. It’s crazy to think that only three years ago I was a cancer patient, seeing doctor after doctor in New York. When I think of where I’ve been in comparison to where I am now, I know for sure that anything is possible, that dreams do come true. I know that hitting bottom makes life at the top that much sweeter, that without the lows the highs would be meaningless. I am so thankful for my life, for my health, for the opportunity to live every day to the fullest, to start this journey in the vibration of gratitude. Next stop: Japan ✈️✈✈️

Over the next few months, they traveled and wandered across the world, exploring and finding out new places. While on their journey, they learned by making new friends and volunteering to help them…

Volunteered in a poor Cambodian village outside of Siem Reap today. These three little girls didn’t leave my side once, they even helped me paint the structure we were working on. In spite of not having proper shelter or beds to sleep in, they don’t stop smiling or lose their joy. So much to learn from here

According to Molly,

If you had told me four months ago that, by the summer of 2015, I would have learned the electric guitar, driven a motorbike, pierced my nose and traveled the world I probably would have called you crazy. When I look back at where I was then in relation to where I am now I can’t help but laugh. I think it’s finally official: I’ve lost my mind… And found my heart. ??? #love #bali#adventure

According to Ryan, this is what relationships mean to him…

Relationship is a vessel for personal growth and transformation, first and foremost.
We are evolutionary beings deigned to grow and expand. What better way to push yourself past the limits of your comfort zone than to be with someone on the same trajectory as you?
A relationship should not just encourage growth, but expedite it, as both partners uncover and work through their “stuff” (limiting beliefs, karma, emotional resistance, etc)
The result is a true soulmate connection where you look at one another with love, respect, reverence, and the ultimate understanding. The relationship is ever unfolding into greater and greater moments of awareness and joy as you two remember who you really are. ❤️
