The iconic American musical drama, The Sound of Music celebrated its 50th release at the Oscars. Gaga gave a glorious performance as she sang the numbers from the movie in her gorgeous white gown.
Before her performance,the screen lit up and showed a montage of the movie. Her great performance was introduced by none other than Scarlet Johanson. Gaga sang the medley of “The Sound of Music,” “Do Re Mi,” “Edelweiss,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,”. Her powerful performance was loved by the audience which stood up to give her a standing ovation. She did do a great job. This Gaga rehearsing with the musicians.
After her performance, the special guest of the night, Julie Andrews came on the stage embraced Gaga and thanked everyone for showing their love for the movie for so long.
